The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The terminal can be used for order assembly and inventory management in a store, as well as for warehouse and logistics automation.
Body Features
The design is based on user feedback. The result is a thin and lightweight device that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the casing have been reduced without sacrificing strength. The device can withstand falls from a height of up to 1.8 m. The protection class of the casing is IP68.
The model is equipped with a touch LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used in direct sunlight. The model comes with an industrial-grade button keypad.
A border has been added to protect the power button from accidental presses. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, on both the left and right sides of the casing. Users can choose the button that is most comfortable for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks terminal is equipped with a professional scanning module. Labels can be scanned from a distance of up to 1 meter. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes. The terminal is suitable for accounting for alcohol and for working with E-Mark labeling.
The scanning module can recognize scratched, smudged, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with a transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by a sound and light signal. The brightness of the front backlight in this model has been reduced to lessen the strain on the operator's eyes.
Battery
The terminal operates on a high-capacity ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent overcharge protection system is provided.
Advantages of the installed battery:
- Over 800 charging cycles without capacity reduction.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- One charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing a discharged battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and the data is retained in the volatile memory.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular connectivity up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC is implemented. For cellular communication, a microphone with dual noise cancellation and high-quality speakers are provided.
