The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for use indoors or outdoors. It can be used for order picking and inventory management in a store, as well as for warehouse and logistics automation.
Body Features
The design is based on user feedback. The result is a thin and lightweight handheld data terminal that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the body have been minimized without sacrificing strength. The device can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. The enclosure protection class is IP68.
The model is equipped with a touch LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used under direct sunlight. The model is completed with an industrial button keyboard.
To protect the power button from accidental pressing, a border has been added. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel on both the left and right sides of the body. The user can choose the button that is most convenient for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data terminal is equipped with a professional scanning module. Scanning labels is possible from a distance of up to 1 m. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes. The terminal is suitable for alcohol accounting and for working with E-Mark labeling.
The scanning module recognizes scratched, dirty, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by sound and light signals. The brightness of the front backlight in this model is reduced to reduce eye strain for the operator.
Battery
The terminal operates on the basis of a high-capacity ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent overcharge protection system is provided.
The advantages of the installed battery are:
- More than 800 charging cycles without capacity reduction.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- A single charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing a discharged battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off and data is saved in the RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular communication up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC is implemented. For cellular communication, a microphone with double noise cancellation and high-quality speakers are provided.
