The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The terminal can be used for order picking and inventory management in retail, as well as for warehouse automation and logistics.
Housing Features
The design was developed based on user feedback. The result is a thin and lightweight data collection device that can be operated with one hand. The dimensions of the housing have been reduced without losing strength. The device can withstand drops from a height of up to 1.8 m. Housing protection class: IP68.
The model is equipped with a touchscreen LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used in direct sunlight. The model comes with an industrial button keyboard.
To protect the power button from accidental pressing, a border has been added. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, on both the left and right sides of the housing. The user can choose the button that is most convenient for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks is equipped with a professional scanning module. Labels can be scanned from a distance of up to 1 m. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes. The terminal is suitable for alcohol accounting and working with E-Mark labeling.
The scanning module recognizes scratched, stained, or crumpled codes as well as labels covered with transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by an audio and visual signal. The brightness of the front backlight in this model has been reduced to lessen the strain on the operator's eyes.
Battery
The terminal is powered by a high-capacity ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent overcharge protection system is provided.
Advantages of the installed battery:
- More than 800 charging cycles without capacity loss.
- Performance maintained for 3 years.
- One charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing a discharged battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and the data is preserved in the RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular communication up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC has been implemented. For cellular communication, a microphone with dual noise cancellation and quality speakers are provided.
