The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The terminal can be used for order assembly and inventory management in a store, as well as for warehouse and logistics automation.
Body Features
The design was developed based on user feedback. The result is a thin and lightweight data collection terminal that can be operated with one hand. The size of the body has been reduced without compromising strength. The device withstands drops from heights of up to 1.8 m. The protection class of the body is IP68.
The model is equipped with a touch LCD display. Thanks to the bright display, the terminal can be used in direct sunlight. The model comes with an industrial button keyboard.
A border has been added to protect the power button from accidental presses. The scanning buttons are located on the front panel, on the left and right sides of the body. Users can choose the button that is most comfortable for them.
Scanning Module
The MERTECH SUNMI L2Ks data collection terminal is equipped with a professional scanning module. Label scanning is possible from a distance of up to 1 m. The system recognizes all popular 1D and 2D barcodes. The terminal is suitable for alcohol accounting and for working with E-Mark labeling.
The scanning module recognizes scratched, dirty, or crumpled codes, as well as labels covered with a transparent film. Barcode recognition is accompanied by sound and light signals. The brightness of the front backlight in this model has been reduced to decrease the strain on the operator's eyes.
Battery
The terminal operates on a powerful ATL 5000 mAh battery. An intelligent system is provided to protect against overcharging.
Advantages of the installed battery:
- More than 800 recharge cycles without capacity loss.
- Performance is maintained for 3 years.
- A single charge lasts for 16 hours of operation.
The design includes a backup power battery. When replacing the discharged battery with a charged one, the device does not turn off, and data is preserved in the RAM.
Interfaces
Support for dual-band Wi-Fi, cellular communication up to 4G, Bluetooth and BLE 5.0, GPS, and NFC is implemented. For cellular communication, there is a microphone with dual noise cancellation and high-quality speakers.
