Mertech D-20A Promatic GREENRED Banknote Detector

MERTECH D-20A Promatic GREENRED is an automatic banknote authenticity detector. The detections are carried out using the PSD and Anti-Stokes (IAS) system. The analysis of banknotes is performed according to machine-readable signs. After the detections, one of two signals lights up on the housing: green or red.

Advantages of this model

The small banknote detector does not take up much space. The installation requires a total area of 135*165 mm. The device body is made of plastic and polycarbonate.

The device operates on the principle of a traffic light. Staff with any skill level can verify the authenticity of the money. When working, 8 detections are used.:

The principle of operation

The device only works with rubles. Analysis speed: 0.5 seconds. During operation, direct and reverse feed is performed. The direction in which the money is inserted does not matter.

The check is accompanied not only by a light, but also by an audible indication. When a bill with signs of forgery is detected, the device emits an unpleasant sound. When new banknotes are released, the detector firmware can be updated.

The device is suitable for quick verification of banknotes for authenticity. This is an excellent solution for high-traffic outlets: supermarkets, cafes, beauty salons, gas stations, ticket offices, pharmacies, etc.

There is no battery in the design of this model. The device is powered by an AC adapter. A USB port is used for connection.
