The "Hands-free" mode is configured for all listed models. Once it is activated, the operator does not need to press the scan button. Barcodes are read automatically if the label is in the coverage area.

Activating the "Hands-free" mode speeds up customer service. The function is suitable for working with small items that are easy to bring to the reader. To scan a label from a bulky product, you can remove the device from the platform and point it at the desired angle. This is the advantage of hand-held scanners on a rack over stationary models.
